Drawing on regional and national data, the Collaborative is creating foundational research that will provide key policy insights on how to address rising costs while simultaneously improving HNHC patient outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Across health systems, high-need, high-cost (HNHC) patients tend to constitute a relatively small segment of the population while accounting for a disproportionately large share of healthcare expenditures.
