The Atlas of Variations in Medical Practice (Atlas VPM), led by the Data Science for Health Services and Policy Research group at the Aragonese Institute of Health Sciences (IACS), is celebrating 25 years of analysing and highlighting unjustified variations in healthcare within the National Health Service (NHS), with the aim of improving the efficiency, equity and quality of healthcare services.
