This Atlas describes the health care received by the diabetic population in Aragon in 2020, in terms of the pharmacological treatment prescribed.
It compares the results of the indicators at basic health zone and health area level between men and women and between populations with different socioeconomic levels.
The pharmaceutical treatment received by patients in 10 autonomous communities of the NHS is analyzed, based on pharmaceutical dispensing data according to their Health Card, from 2017 to 2022.
Two Atlases: Variations in outpatient dispensing of opioid analgesics and Variations in outpatient dispensing of antibiotics.
The indicators for this by basic health zone 2021-2023 are: hospitalizations for acute complications of diabetes (CAD), hospitalizations for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), hospitalizations for congestive heart failure (CHF), hospitalizations for dehydration (DH), urgent hospitalizations for non-primary angina without associated procedure (Angina) and hospitalizations for adult asthma (Asthma).
