Population Health Information Research Infrastructure – From Data to Public Health Actions

Enrique Bernal-Delgado will present a seminar on “Federated Research: Opportunities for Health System Comparisons.” in Brown School of Public Health’s Center for Health System Sustainability (CHeSS) and via ZOOM
The course is organized by the Data Science Group for Research in Health Services and Policies, Aragon Institute of Health Sciences (IACS) and the Research Network on Chronicity, Primary Care and Prevention and Health Promotion (RICAPPS).
Over the next three years (2024 -2026), the QUANTUM project aims to develop and
implement the health data quality label for the secondary use of health data in the EU.
The Quantum project will guarantee the quality of healthcare data in Europe for use in research and innovation. It is a project coordinated by Enrique Bernal-Delgado, researcher of the Data Science for Health Services and Policy Research group at IACS.
The policy brief ‘We could avoid hospitalization of patients with chronic disease’ includes implications for health management and recommendations for decision making derived from the Atlas of Potentially Avoidable Hospitalizations for chronic conditions by basic health area.
