The Atlas of Diabetes Healthcare in Aragon includes the Atlas for Diabetes Care Monitoring and the Atlas of Pharmaceutical Prescription in Diabetes.
Both atlases describe the health care received by the diabetic population in Aragon in terms of care provision, care outcomes and complications in the former and in terms of the pharmacological treatment prescribed in the latter.

The Atlas of pharmaceutical prescription in diabetes describes the health care received by the diabetic population in Canarias in terms of the pharmacological treatment prescribed.
The different sections compare the results of the indicators at basic health zone and health area level between men and women and between populations with different socioeconomic levels.

This Atlas makes it possible to view the care given to patients with diabetes in each autonomous community.
The indicators chosen for the development of this Atlas of Potentially Avoidable Hospitalisations for chronic conditions 2018-2020 are: hospitalisations for acute complications of diabetes (CAD), hospitalisations for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), hospitalisations for congestive heart failure (CHF), hospitalisations for dehydration (DH), emergency hospitalisations for non-primary and non-procedural angina (Angina) and hospitalisations for adult asthma (Asthma).

This Atlas makes it possible to view the care given to patients with diabetes in each autonomous community. A series of indicators (contextual, on care to the patient with diabetes, on results of such care and on complications) are presented in the Atlas, at the level of basic health area and healthcare area. The Atlas on Diabetes also offers specific analyses by determined age groups and for men and women separately, permitting their comparison.
The type of indicators represented and the unit of analysis chosen make this Atlas a potentially useful tool for monitoring the implementation of regional diabetes.
