The Joint Action helps Member States and the Commission to develop an ecosystem in which health data is shared more freely, boosting citizens’ well-being, the public health system, disease treatment, research and innovation activities in Europe.
IACS is leading WP6 “Excellence in data quality”, led by Enrique Bernal-Delgado.
WP6 will be providing solutions for the trustworthy secondary use of health and health care data with a view to fostering the digital transformation of the European health systems.
IACS is also leading WP7 “Connecting the dots”, led by Juan González García.
This work package will detail the technical options to provide an effective secondary use of health data through the EHDS. In this way, these solutions represent the technical interoperability elements of the EHDS, according to the European Interoperability Framework.
